Account and Data Deletion — mcpro35mm
This page explains how to request deletion of your account and
personal data associated with the mcpro35mm Android application.
What happens when you sign in to mcpro35mm
When you tap “Sign in with Google” (or the equivalent sign-in
option on Huawei AppGallery, Samsung Galaxy Store, or RuStore) on the
first-launch screen, the app creates an account record on our server
mcpro24fps.com using your email address. This record is used
to track your trial / free / premium license state across devices.
If you never sign in, the app runs in free mode and no server-side
account exists. There is nothing for us to delete in that case.
Two options: full deletion vs. anonymization
When you request deletion, you can choose between two approaches,
depending on whether you want to keep the ability to restore your
purchase later.
Option A — Anonymization (recommended if you bought premium)
We remove your email address and other personal identifiers from our
database, but keep the anonymous purchase record (order ID, store name,
product ID, date). This way:
- Your personal data is no longer linked to you.
- If you later reinstall the app and tap
“Restore Purchase”, the store (Google / Huawei / Samsung / RuStore)
will return the same purchase token, and we will re-associate it with
a new account email you sign in with. Your lifetime premium is preserved. - Purchase record is kept for the statutory accounting period
(5 years under Latvian Law on Accounting, Art. 10), then
deleted automatically. After that period your purchase cannot
be restored through our server (though the store may still recognize it).
Option B — Full deletion
We remove everything we hold about you, including the purchase
record. Note that this is irreversible:
- If you change your mind later, we cannot restore your premium
status because we no longer have evidence of your purchase on
our side. - You can still contact the original store (Google Play / Huawei /
Samsung / RuStore) directly — they keep their own purchase records
separately and may be able to help you recover the license.
If you don’t specify, we will default to Option A (anonymization)
— it protects both your privacy and your purchase. Under GDPR Article 17(3)(b)
we may decline full deletion if the purchase is still an active contract,
and offer anonymization instead.
How to request deletion
- Send an email from the email address you used to sign in
to the app (this helps us verify the request). - Address it to info@mcpro24fps.com.
- Use subject line:
mcpro35mm account deletion. - State clearly whether you want Option A (anonymization) or
Option B (full deletion). If you don’t specify, we use Option A. - Example body:
“Please delete my mcpro35mm account associated with
myemail@example.com. I want Option A (anonymization) / Option B
(full deletion including purchase record).” - Within 30 days (GDPR-mandated) we will process your request and
send you a confirmation email.
If you cannot send email from the account’s registered email address
(for example, you lost access to that mailbox), write to us from any
address and describe the situation — we will verify your ownership
through a different method (such as a recent purchase order ID).
What data is deleted / anonymized / retained
| Data | Option A | Option B | Details |
|---|---|---|---|
| Account email | Deleted | Deleted | Removed from the database within 30 days. |
| License state (trial / free / premium flag) | Deleted | Deleted | Removed with the account record. |
| Trial start / end timestamps | Deleted | Deleted | Removed with the account record. |
| Linked-account list (“Transfer” feature) | Deleted | Deleted | Links removed; the linked emails themselves are not affected. |
| Purchase records (order ID, store name, product ID, date) | Retained (anonymized) | Deleted | Option A: stripped of personal identifiers, kept for the statutory accounting period (5 years under Latvian Law on Accounting, Art. 10), then auto-deleted. Option B: deleted immediately along with your email. |
| Crash reports and analytics events | Managed by provider | We don’t hold these directly. Firebase Crashlytics retains crash details for up to 90 days; Firebase Analytics events for up to 14 months (default). To delete these, follow Google’s instructions at accounts.google.com, or Huawei’s equivalent in your Huawei ID settings. |
|
| Photos you captured | Not applicable | Photos are stored only on your device. We never receive them. Delete them yourself from your device’s photo gallery. |

Legal basis for retention of anonymized purchase data
Under Latvian Law on Accounting
(Grāmatvedības likums, Article 10) and EU VAT rules, sellers
must keep accounting records of sales for the statutory period
(5 years in Latvia, longer in some EU jurisdictions).
Option A above complies with this requirement by retaining only
pseudonymous transaction data, with no personal identifier attached,
for that period.
Under GDPR Article 6(1)(c), this retention is lawful as necessary
for compliance with a legal obligation, and under Article 5(1)(e) we
delete the records automatically once the statutory period expires
(storage limitation principle).
In-app account management
In addition to emailing us, you can at any time from within the app:
- Sign out — More menu → Sign out. This clears
the locally cached account info on your device but does not
delete the server record. To fully delete, send us an email
as described above. - Disable analytics — More menu → Send statistics
→ off. Stops crash reports and usage events from leaving the
device. - Revoke location — Android Settings → Apps
→ mcpro35mm → Permissions. Removes the app’s ability to
write GPS data into photo EXIF. - Uninstall — removes all locally cached data on
your device. Server record (if you signed in) remains until you
request deletion.
